    a place in the finals

About

In the summer of 2015 the Tweener Tennis Team organised its first major tennis tournament. With sponsorship generously supplied by Grand Productions Ltd, and with the help of Born2Win Tennis, we created a successful summer of tennis for players all over the UK.

Players competed in LTA Grade 6 all-play-all leagues to win a place in the Finals.

Qualifying

Leagues were organised in eight locations around the UK: two in Scotland and six in England. The leagues were split into four tiers. The top two tiers were invitationals, while for the lower two tiers players had to compete for a place in the Finals.

The qualifying period ran from 22nd June to 31st August. During this time 295 matches were played.

Results and league tables can be viewed by clicking on the league name.

On Saturday 5th September - the sunniest day of the year in Glasgow - 28 players travelled from across the UK to compete in the Finals.

The winner of each tier was awarded a prize of £250, the runner up £75.
